Types of Massage

We use various techniques in our session according to your need

Deep tissue massage is a technique used to relieve both muscle tension and trigger points (muscle knots). It helps to improve the range of motion and heal injuries below the surface. While working on deeper layers to release accumulated tension, we work with you in close communication so we could make effective session while you are still relaxed and comfortable.

This massage addresses the entire body for health benefits and stress relief. Also, if you are more sensitive to deeper pressure or pain, this massage best fits you.

When trigger points are present, the surrounding area of the muscle is dense, and you can find a nodule when you pinch or compress the area. Trigger points refer pain to other areas, and that makes it difficult to treat muscle issues because where you are feeling pain is not necessary the cause of pain. A skilled massage therapist who specializes in trigger point therapy can find and work on your trigger points, and you can continue to work on it after the session. It helps to improve the range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.

We all develop muscle imbalances in our bodies as we go through our lives. Postural distortions are caused by the tensile line created by tight muscles and fascias*. Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to release these tensile lines. It helps restore postural balance in your body and often used for clinical/orthopedic massage to recover from injuries and restore range of motion.

* Fascia is a connective tissue that holds and binds muscles together. If the muscles are sausages, fascias are the casing that holds the sausages and connects to the bones.

Orthopedic Massage is done by skilled and trained massage therapists. It’s not a single technique of massage but a system of rehabilitative massage. It’s done by orthopedic protocol – taking a thorough assessment before the session, testing the muscular tension, release it through various techniques and stretch (Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and others as needed). This is ideal for the muscular issues that are overwhelming and getting out of your hands.

By releasing blockages in the meridian channels through which energy passes, this massage helps to relieve muscle tension, postural distortion, and physical symptoms such as headaches, constipation, insomnia, stress, anxiety, and depression, amongst others.

A unique hands-on bodywork system designed to restore function, relieve pain, rebalance, and re-educate the body based on concepts and principles from Rolfing, osteopathy, and related physical medicine. This technique focuses on detecting and correcting strain patterns to prevent back/neck pain and combines deep-tissue work with assisted stretching and non-force spinal alignment.

Therapy Derived from Ancient China, our cupping method is unique and effective. By creating suction and negative pressure, Vacuum Cupping therapy is used to soften tight muscles and tone attachments, loosen adhesion and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

Prenatal massage focuses on addressing the special needs of the expecting mother. By positioning the clients in the most suitable way to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen. If you are a first-time client, we suggest booking with “New Client Starter Package.”
