She took the time to ask about any areas of concern and tailored the massage to address my specific needs. I appreciated how she checked in regularly to ensure the pressure was just right without being disruptive.
The massage itself was pure bliss! I could feel the tension melting away as she worked through the knots in my shoulders and back. By the end of the session, I felt incredibly relaxed and rejuvenated. The spa also uses high-quality oils and soothing music that really enhances the experience.
One thing I really appreciated was the cleanliness of the facility.

I had the pleasure of experiencing a 90-minute massage from Kimiyo. I knew her massage techniques were different from the ordinary spas, where you get oil rubbed all over you. I have lower back pain and needed something more than soft hands … More rubbing oil on my body. Once I walked in she had me fill out paperwork to know more about the specific pains I was having, how long I have experienced them, and also my daily routines. I was so intrigued on the fact that she really carved time out to find out my specific needs. My massage was relaxing but at the same time she targeted the exact pressure points needed in my lower back to help me. I didn’t even realize how tight my lower back really was until she was kneading the area, I also realized it was my left lower back and not my right side that had the most pain. In the end of my session, we sat down and spoke about which areas of my body were really tight, and what I can do to help elevate some of the tightness. She also gave me homework to do, so I can start a routine to help my digestive system, and tips for my lower back pain. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and learned so much from all the knowledge she has. I definitely recommend her if you’re looking for a masseuse that cares deeply about the issues you are having! I was looking for a massage therapist that really would understand the source of my neck and shoulder pain, and not just the routine massage you get from the chains. Kimiyo spent about 20 minutes just asking me questions about pain, routine, etc., and none of that time cut into my 90 minute session. Nor did the 15 minutes after where she gave me a number of exercises to do at home, she called it homework. I highly recommend Stony Point Massage. Kim is just amazing.
